RECAPITULATION 4th-9th April Begins Saturday 4th april 6.30 pm and finishes Thursday 9th April 12.00. participants will all have undertaken preparatory work and must have registered for the course by 1st March at the latest. Preparatory tasks and programme will be delivered in stages: 1st module 16th january 2nd module 13th February 3rd module 13th March minimum preparation is module 3.
This course will be open to all subject to having undertaken at least the minimum preparation. Ideally, prospective paticipants will have undertaken at least one previous Toltec workshop.
Recapitulation concerns undoing the negative influences of the past. Negative means not only those influences which we find unpleasant but also those which are based in ignorance-not knowing the true nature of things. in this recapitualtion programme participants will have the opportunity to understand through direct perception as well as reflection, why behaviour patterns are in place and will discover the remedies and behavioural antidotes through their personal meditations. Spontaneously arising from the place of no thought, of no reflection, such anitdotes can have a powerful and lasting effect on the transformation of negative patterns.
Understanding the balance between the reflective thinking process and the process that causes realisation or wisdom to arise spontaneously provides an essential insight to the respective effciency of these tools: reflection upon the past can direct our attention towards patterns and the need to release them yet it is the energetic work in this recapitualtion process that provides the effective remedy. Ultimately the aim is that we release all attachement to our personal stories and dramas, be they considered to be good or bad. The Toltec body of work will provide a fundamental framework for the processs with energetic work that will include meditation techniques drawn from the Vigyan Bhairav Tantra [tantra=technique] as well as natural shamanic elements as a means to allow ‘empty reflection’ to arise and thereby give insight. Those who are familiar with Taoist breathing will find the technique very eficient during the process of energetic release. After the workshop is completed, each individual will take away a personal and individual practice that should be undertaken for 3 months at least. The practical ‘antidote’ effectively casts or crystallises the energetic and behavioural process. Ultimately, the process is capable of harmonising the whole being offering a very different perspective on the notion of “I”. The post recapitualtion process provides a very strong non-personal understanding of individuality and founds a more naturally purposive approach to life. The post recapitulatiuon process is a prescriptive medicine for each individual and thus the power to heal is delivered very much into our own hands. This part of the process will be supported and a timescale will be provided. Support will be available through correspondance and optionally through meetings, but each individual will be able to work at their own pace. |
